Lesson objective

That the user knows how to create and use a template from filling out an invoice.

Advantages of using templates

Creating and using templates allows you to streamline the process of creating and filling out an invoice for recurring clients in your portfolio.

Create an invoice template

Log in to the system as instructed in lesson ID-101.1

Once inside the system, go to the "Invoicing" module.

Click on the "create invoice" action in the "Actions" menu on the left side of the window.

In the top right corner, 4 buttons will appear; select "Plantilla" on the last one.

To create a template, you need to fill in at least the following fields:

  • Nombre de la plantilla
  • Serie
  • Cliente
  • RFC
  • Uso CFDI
  • Fecha de emisión
  • Método de pago
  • Forma de pago
  • Divisa de facturación
  • Tipo de cambio

Whether you know the customer's name or RFC, when you start typing either of these fields, the system will quickly show you a result of the customers already registered.

Go to the "Productos a facturar" section to register at least one item, price, and quantity.

You can also fill in the other sections of the voucher (Commercial, Payment Terms, Supplement) if needed.

Once this process is complete, click the "Guardar" button. If you wish to create another template, click "Guardar &Nuevo".

If the data is correct, click on "ok".

Use a template

In the "Invoicing" module, click on the "use template" action in the "Actions" menu.

A box will appear with all the created templates. Click on the template you need.
